POST CONSULTATION SERVICES/FEE

Private Clients: Home Office application and/or dealing with matters outstanding with the Home Office
If after the initial consultation we are required to act further on behalf of the client, our fee in relation to Home Office applications and/or dealing with Home Office outstanding applications up until the Home Office decision on the application is between £1800- £2500 exclusive of VAT and Home Office fees. Our fee range depends on the nature of the individual matter.
Please note that the fee above does not include post-Home Office final decision services. Our fee for Court attendance for Judicial review, Tribunal appeal matters etc is the same as our private clients charge for family and crime above. Further information will be found in our Retainer letter to client or on client’s enquiry.

Please note there is no option for legal aid funding in this area of law as we do not have franchise to offer free legal advice. Therefore, all our clients are private clients.

TYPES OF MATTERS:

​Home Office Applications: Total fees payable for home office applications, including immigration health surcharge where applicable is from £2,612.20 - £3000 or more (exclusive of VAT) depending on the nature of the application.

Client may apply for a Home Office fee waiver. However, this is entirely at the Home Office discretion and meeting the criteria. Solicitor’s fee for applying for a fee waiver is £450 exclusive of VAT.

If counsel opinion is required, client will be advised accordingly and counsel fee ranges from £450 - £1200 or more (exclusive of VAT) depending on the nature of advice sought.

Other disbursements (e.g medical records: translating documents, expert assessments, etc) from £50 - £2000 or more (Exclusive of vat) depending on the nature of the case

Timescale from 6 months – 18 months or more depending on the circumstance of the case.

Court attendance for Judicial review, Tribunal appeal matters etc is the between £180 - £250 exclusive of VAT depending on solicitor’s grade.

Timescale for judicial review or tribunal hearing could be up to 12 months or more depending on court’s time and availability.

Counsel fees for judicial review/tribunal hearings can be from £500 - £5000 or more depending on the nature of the case.

Other disbursements will be communicated as soon as they become apparent.
